Fishing And Boating Around Eddy Creek
Popular Spot On The Mosquito Lagoon
Tuesday April 24, 2018
Eddy Creek Boat Ramp is located on the Canaveral National Seashore side at Playalinda Beach. It's main purpose seems to be for kayakers and very small boats to access the south end of Mosquito Lagoon. Great fishing directly adjacent to Eddy Creek's entrance is available with Galinipper Bay and Point to the north and other more prominent fishing destinations nearby.

A daily pass is needed for access to the Eddy Creek Boat ramp and while most motor boaters tend to access the lagoon from it's western shorelines at Biolab, Beacon 42 and Bears Cove launches, this is a great location for non-motorized vessels to take a day in a remote, secluded area.
Eddy Creek on the Mosquito Lagoon holds nice red fish and trout through out the year. Enjoy boating around the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
